Graham's love of landscapes have always been one of his greatest inspirations to paint. A lifetimes interest in walking and the beauty of the British countryside have been a big influence on his work. Graham sees his painting as a direct response to the emotions he feels when experiencing these environments in many different seasons and different times of the day. For Graham a key importance within his paintings is to capture the effect of light passing over a space, he achieves this with various tones, colours and textures.
