Inspired by the ancient Flower of Life pattern which is said to be over 6,000 years old this is one of many interpretations designed by Cameron Furniture. This Flower of Life pattern has been a constant muse throughout Jason Cameron’s career, often developing a singular or repeat patterns. This wastepaper basket is designed and made with Birch and Walnut using traditional and modern methods at the workshop of Cameron Furniture, only a stone’s throw from the South West Coast Path.

Celebrating 20 years in production, Cameron Furniture’s peg & pin wrap wastepaper basket design…

Designed by Cameron Furniture founder, Jason Cameron, the wrap wastepaper basket was developed whilst he studied BA (Hons) Product Design at Birmingham University. The wastepaper baskets are made using traditional and modern techniques, famed for their wrap, peg and pin system. These baskets adorn many homes around the world and are admired for their sculptural appearance. The range now has expanded with many designs to choose from influenced by Jason’s inspirations of Art Deco, ancient geometry, architecture, botanicals and geology
